The Exwell Heavy Duty Releasable Bulldog Spear is a wireline fishing tool specially designedfor the recovery of the damaged down-hole flow control device with a damaged internal fishnecks.The tool is run to depth by wireline and the Collet retracts & collapse inward to allow entryinto the fish ID. The spring will then push the hardened Collet teeth outward and bite intothe damaged fish ID. Further upward pull will now force the hardened teeth to bite deeperinto the tool ID thus providing tighter grip onto the tool. To confirm that the Collet issuccessfully engaged with fish neck, lifting load will increase during upwards pullmovement.To release the fish, upward jarring will shear the release pin, this allow the Collet to retractand lock in the body and disengage the fish ID.
