The Exwell Hydraulic Quad Ram Coiled Tubing BOP is hydrauliccoiled tubing valve; designed specifically to be used as coiledtubing operations. It has four rams configuration to providepositive protection against blowouts and to secure the well inemergencies.It allows the performance of coil tubing work tobe carried out under the well pressure on surface equipment,while the tubing is in the wellbore. The Hydraulic Quad Ram CTBOP is placed directly above the wellhead.
The Hydraulic CT BOP closure design consists of hydraulicactuator assembly connected to each of the two ramassemblies, permits hydraulic compression of the Rams aroundthe tubing from opposite sides. A seal is then made to containwell pressure below the rams. Pressure across the ram isequalized through a equalizing manifold assembly prior tohydraulically retracting the ram and opening the valve. It maybe operated hydraulically with any source capable of providingrequired pressure. Manual override is available in case ofhydraulics failure.

Com bi Ram Configurations:
Shear/Seal Rams can shear tubing up to 3-1/2" and seal-off the well pressure.
Slip/Seal Rams hold the tubing in place while shearing or other applications and seal around the tubing, isolating the well bore below.
Quad ram configuration:
Blind Seal ram assembly to seal off well pressure when nothing is in the well bore.
Shear ram assembly to shear cut the tubing when necessary.
Slip ram assembly to hold sheared pipe in position.
Pipe seal ram to seal off well pressure from below.
