The Exwell Double Jar Down Running/ Pulling tool is designed to add greater operationalflexibility to the Exwell 'SD' Pulling Tool range, where downward jarring is necessary prior topulling or releasing from a subsurface device. The Exwell Double Jar Down Running I Pullingtool mechanism allows the tool to be jarred down indefinitely with out possibility ofpremature tool release. Light upward jarring will then shear one pin, before ultimately jarringdownwards to shear off the tool release pin enabling tool disengagement and retrieval fromthe well bore in the usual manner. The Exwell Double Jar Down Running I Pulling Tool hasbeen used with particular success as an alternative tool for running and pulling gas lifts valves.
