The Exwell CT Flow Activated Releasable Overshot is designed to fish by location on an externaldiameter. The Flow Release Overshot performs the same operation as the wire line Overshot butis activated by flow and not by fracture of a shear pin. The bowl and collet slips are manufactured as interchangeable items allowing the tool to becustomised to suit a range of fishing diameters. The Overshot is operated by automatic latch on using sit down weight and released by acombination of reducing the sit down weight and increasing the flow through the tool.
